Patrick (Patsy), devoted husband of Margaret, beloved father of Madonna, Lisa and Kevina, dear father in law of Ronan, Ciaran and Ronan, cherished grandfather of Chloe, Dylan, Harry, Rhys, Daire, Emma, Annie, Rémi and Edison, predeceased by his father Patrick and mother Bridget Aherne, brother to Noreen Connolly (deceased), John, Gerard (deceased), Mary Walsh, Phylis Morrissey, Margaret Warrick(deceased), Michael, Kathleen Kelly.

Removal from McConville’s Funeral Home at 3pm on Tuesday afternoon (visitors welcome from 2:30pm) to his late residence at 75 Ardross Crossmaglen. No Wake times apply and visitors may visit the Aherne home at any time to pay their respects right up to Thursday. Funeral on Thursday July 25, leaving his home at 10:40am (House Strictly Private on Thursday morning) to St Patrick’s Church, Crossmaglen (via the Carron Rd) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Livestream of Mass available to view via the parish webcam www.uppercreggan.co.uk. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife, daughters, sons in law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, extended Aherne family, neighbours and many friends.
