Davy , or ‘Wee Davy’ as I knew him was a one of kind character and an absolute gentleman. There was never a dull moment with Davy when he was on site, either painting or up a cherry picker, he always had a story to tell and made the working day that bit easier with his humour. I’ll miss him arriving on site with a box of duck eggs, a bag of plums or even a frozen fish! He was one of those very rare characters that never changed and always had a positive outlook on life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family , whom I’m sure will miss him terribly. ‘Legends never die.’ James Greer
