ATTASSERIL Geevarghese Varkey (Downpatrick) RIP (Thankachan) Died 19th February 2026 peacefully at City Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly beloved husband of Anna. Much loved father of Diana, Ashline and Irene. Dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle to all his nephews and nieces.

Geevarghese’s remains will be reposing in Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Home with the family in attendance between 6pm-9pm on Wednesday 25th February. Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Downpatrick at 11.00am on Thursday 26th February 2026 followed by interment in Struell Cemetery, Downpatrick.
