The death has taken place of the late Lorna Averell (née Bowman), October 10 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, surrounded by her devoted family, 34 Glenburn Park, Magherafelt, dearly loved wife of Colin, much loved mother of Nicola and Darren, dear mother-in-law of Amanda and Adrian, loving nanny of Matthew, Sarah, Harry, Aaron and Ryan and dearest sister of Victor, Mervyn, Doris, Maureen, Ivor, Kenny and the late Des and Norman.

House private. Family and friends welcome in Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP on Sunday evening (October 12) from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Funeral from her home on Monday (October 13) at 1:00pm for service in St Swithin’s Parish Church at 1:30pm approx. followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard.
