BLACK Patrick, 12 Clinton Park, Downpatrick died peacefully Tuesday 14 October 2025 at the Downe Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly beloved husband of the late Maeve, loving father of Alan and Stephen, cherished grandfather of Lara, Mia, Callum, Sophia-Rose and Daisy-May, devoted father-in-law of Sarah and Michelle and much loved brother of Mary, Damian, Ursula, Bernie, Charlie and the late Colette and Paul.

Patrick is reposing in the Chapel of Rest at Down Funeral Directors, 26 John Street, Downpatrick, BT30 6BY with the family in attendance daily from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. Patrick will leave the funeral home on Friday 17 October at 11.30 am for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Saul with interment following in the adjoining family burial ground.
