BLANEY James (Jim) April 16, 2025 at Colinvale Court Nursing Home, formerly of Glenhill Park and Clonard Gardens, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family. R.I.P. Devoted husband to the late Maureen, much loved dad of Pauline, Carol, Michele, Gabrielle, Seamus and Conor. Doting granda and great granda. Formerly of Bass Ireland Ltd.

He just went on quietly working for the ones he loved the most. His dreams were seldom spoken, his wants were very few, and most of the time his worries went unspoken too. He was there, a firm foundation through all our storms of life. A sturdy hand to hold onto in times of stress and strife. A true friend we could turn to when times were good or bad. One of our greatest blessings, the man that we call Dad.

Jim will be reposing at his daughter’s residence, 13 Gransha Avenue, from Sunday evening April 20, 2025. Funeral at St Teresa’s Church, Glen Road on Wednesday April 23, 2025 at 12noon. Burial afterwards at Milltown Cemetery. On his soul, sweet Jesus have mercy. Our Lady of Perpetual Help pray for him.
