BODEL (nee McElroy) Linda (Bessbrook) March 3, 2026, passed away (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family.

Linda, dearly beloved wife of Jim, devoted Mummy to Sonya and Tony, loving Nanny to David and Mollie, Great Nanny to Jax, cherished sister of Gloria, Noel and the late Victor and Unity, caring mother-in-law to Lisa, dearest sister-in-law of Dessie and Cynthia and a much loved aunt, friend and neighbour.

Friends and family are welcome in Mallon’s Funeral Home Tuesday 6-8pm and Wednesday 12-2pm and 6-8pm to pay their respects. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 12pm Thursday followed by interment in Bessbrook Methodist Churchyard.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her entire family circle and many friends.
