We regret to inform you on the death of BURNS (nee Magennis) Maureen (Mary Josephine)

In loving memory of Wee Mo, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Monday 2nd February 2026. She will be sorely missed by her heartbroken children, Michelle, Steven, Gavin and Danni. Deeply missed by all her grandchildren, Jordan, Shay, Kain, Caolan, Jake and Baby Bella. Beloved sister to Pat, John, Peter, Brendan and Michael.

She touched so many lives, a second mother to many. She will stay forever in our hearts and her memory will live on in all the great stories we will share.

Her funeral will take place on Monday 9th February at St Bernards Church at 11.30am followed by committal at 1.00pm in Newtownabbey Crematorium.

Maureen will be reposing at PJ Browns Funeral Home at 420 Oldpark Road. Visting Times on Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm to 4pm.

No flowers please, donations in lieu to the Somerton Road Hospice who took such good care of her in her final days.
