BYRNE Bernard (Barney) R.I.P. 9A Carn Road, Killeavy, Newry at 11.11pm on 17th October 2025, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Mary, loving father of Bernadette, Anne-Marie, Geraldine, Martin and Cecelia, Granda to Derek-Lee, Jordan, Eamon, Jaimie, Katie, Frankie, Meghan, Patrick, Shannon, Alaoighse and Oisin, great-Granda and Papa to Odhran, Darragh, Alex, Annabelle, Ceallach-May, Paddy, Louis and Lillie Marie; predeceased by his parents Brigid and Thomas, his sister Bridie and brothers Michael, Thomas and Eddie and his son-in-law Karl.

Barney’s remains will repose at his late residence. Respectfully, the house is private for close family only tonight. All are welcome tomorrow from 2pm until 9pm. House private on Monday morning please. Removal on Monday morning (20th October) at 10.30am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00am in St. Joseph’s church, Meigh. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. St. Pio of Pietrelcina pray for him.

Very deeply regretted by her loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters and the extended family circle.
