It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the peaceful death of Kathleen Cartin (nee Lagan) at Bohill Care Home on the 1st October 2025, the feast of St Therese of the Child Jesus. Aghadowey (Late of Craigbane)

Beloved wife of the late Philip, dear mother of Mary McCoy, (Seamus), Philip, (Fiona) and Susan who died in infancy. Much loved grandmother of Martin, Stephen, Teresa and Sofia, great grandmother of Shea, Connor, Peter and Isla. Daughter of the late Charles and Mary Lagan and dear sister of Elizabeth, May, Charlie, Susan and the late Tommy and Mary Brigid. Sister-in-law of Tessie.

Kathleen is reposing at Dempsey’s Funeral Home, 11 Coleraine Street, Kilrea BT515QA, where everyone is welcome to call to pay their respects on Friday and Saturday from 5-9pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday in our Lady of Assumption Church, Cullycapple Road, Aghadowey at 1pm. Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family Home Private.
