It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Avril Cathers (née Elliott), October 22 2025, peacefully at Trinity House Residential Home, Garvagh, formerly of Woodvale Road, Portstewart. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill, loving mother of Peter and Alison, mother-in-law of Sharon and Stephen and much loved grandmother of Adam (Rebekah), Bradley (Claudia), Sarah (Andrew) and Abigail (Sam).

Family and friends are welcome to call at her daughter Alison’s home, Ballybogey Road, Portrush. Service of Thanksgiving in Portrush Presbyterian Church on Saturday at 11.00am followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
