It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sad passing of Patrick (Paddy) Close from 55 Maghereagh Road, Randalstown on Tuesday 6th January 2026 suddenly in Hospital, dearly beloved husband of Marie, loving father to Eamonn, Roisin, Andrew, Deirdre and Patrick, father-in-law to Kelley, Andrew, Mairead, Sean and Catherine, doting grandfather to Darren, Cameron, Lily, Shannon, Eva, Holly, Sienna and Méabh, great-grandfather to Erin and brother to Con, Margaret, Gus, Damien, Marian and the late Eugene.

Paddy’s wake will commence tomorrow, (Thursday) from 11.00am to 9.00pm at his late residence, 55 Maghereagh Road, Randalstown, where his remains will leave on Friday 9th January at 9.20am for St. MacNissi’s Church, Randalstown for 10.00am Requiem Mass. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
