DAVISON Mary Catherine. With profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Catherine Davison on Sunday June 2, 2024 surrounded by her loving husband of 63 years Alan Davison, and their eight devoted children; Alan, Gladys, Lily, David, Patricia Ann, Cecilia, Joseph and Mary Catherine. A cherished wife, mother and friend.

Mary Catherine’s kindness, warmth and unwavering love for her family touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength and enduring love. As we remember Mary Catherine, we find solace in the words of her favourite hymn, Queen of Ireland. ‘Golden Rose, Queen of Ireland, all my cares and troubles cease, as we kneel with love before you, Lady of Knock, my Queen of Peace’.

Mary Catherine’s remains will be reposing at her home, 6 Legnavea Place, Ligoniel on today Tuesday, June 4th. Requiem Mass is at 11.30am on Friday June 7th in Holy Cross Church, Ardoyne followed by 1.30pm Cremation Service in Roselawn Crematorium.

Will be sorely missed by her 25 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
