Liam DEERY

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Liam Deery, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 5th October 2025. Late of 43 Glengalliagh Park. May he rest in peace.
Loving daddy of Cathy, Shauna, Elaine and Laura. Much loved father-in-law of Paddy, Tony and David. Devoted granda of Lauren, Orán, Ella, Tiernan, Evan, Kayla & Eve. Dearest brother of Seamus, Mary, Tony, Bernadette, Christine, Paula and the late Pearse, Geraldine and Eileen. Cherished son of the late Liam and Molly Deery. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, neighbours and friends. St. Padre Pio, Pray For Him.
Liam’s remains will be reposing at his late home 43 Glengalliagh Park, tomorrow afternoon Monday, 6th October from 2pm. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday 8th October at 10:30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
The wake house will be private please from 10pm until 11am.
