DIAMOND (nee Sharkey) Irene (Greenisland) 24th December 2023 peacefully at her home, 61A Shore Road Greenisland.
Irene Therese R.I.P. beloved wife of Paddy and loving mother of Mark, Stephen, Nicholas, Neil and devoted grandmother to Holly and Erin of Mark and Kathleen Terrett, (Whiteabbey), Jack, Olive and Alice of Stephen and Lorna Dawson, (Dublin) and Evie, Molly and Rose of Nicky and Jenny Kilpatrick (Glasgow), dear sister of Phyllis McAtackney and Carol Mohan.
Funeral from her home 61A Shore Road Greenisland on Thursday 28th December for 1.00pm Requiem Mass in St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 8 Minorca Place, Carrickfergus. Interment will be at St. Trea’s Chapel, Newbridge, 140 Aughrim Rd., Magherafelt, BT458HB. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

After interment, for those who can, Mary Diamond has offered her home, close to the chapel, at Hurls Corner, 159 Aughrim Rd., Newbridge, BT413SH. This Aughrim Rd. is on a direct road between Toome and Magherafelt. Hurl’s corner is dangerous, so please park closer to the Bridge.
