DRAINE (Dunmurry) Michael died peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast on December 14, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Linda and cherished father of Stephen (Sarah), Michael, Susan (Gerard), Megan (Stephen), also adored granda of Michael, Fiontan, Murray, Anna and the late Cillian. Much loved brother of Geraldine, Brian, Anne and the late Annemarie and Dymphna.

Michael’s remains will repose at his late residence, 15 Killeaton Park, Dunmurry BT17 9HE, those wishing to pay their respects welcome from 12noon–3.00pm and 6.00pm-9.00pm on Wednesday December 17th. Leaving on Thursday December 18, 2025 at 9.30am for Requiem Mass at 10.00am in St Colman’s Church, 111 Queensway, Lambeg, Lisburn followed by cremation at Roselawn Crematorium, Belfast on Friday December 19, 2025 at 10.00am.
