Brendan DUDDY

The family of the late Brendan Duddy, who sadly passed away on 31st July 2025, would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement.
A heartfelt thanks to those who attended the wake, the funeral and those who sent mass cards and floral tributes.
We would also like to extend our thanks to Fr. Sean O’Donnell of St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill for the celebration of the Requiem Mass. Our thanks also to Sarah and Damian for the beautiful music.
We would also like to extend a special word of thanks to the North West Cancer Centre, Foyle Hospice and all who cared for Brendan and supported the family with love and compassion. Thanks to the District nurses, especially thanks to Dr. Bronagh O’Doherty and all the staff from Abbey Medical Practice.
A word of thanks to all our neighbours and friends. Lastly, thank you to Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their dignified and professional manner in carrying out the funeral arrangements.
Brendan’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 30th August at 5:00pm in St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill.
DUDDY Brendan, 31st. July 2025, peacefully at his home 4 Fernabbey Park. Brendan, beloved husband of Valerie, loving father of Megan, Philip and Brendan, devoted grandfather of Leo and Eireann, dear son of the late Liam and Christina, a cherished brother and brother-in-law to his brothers and sisters. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his nephews, nieces and the wider family circle.
Brendan will be reposing at his home on Thursday 31st. July from 12:00 noon. House private from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 noon.
Funeral leaving his home on Saturday 2nd. August at 10:20 a.m. to St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill for Requiem Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.
