We The family of Edith McCallan would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered their sympathy and support following the loss of our beloved Wife, Mother, Nanny, Sister & Friend.

To our family, neighbours, and friends; thank you for the incredible support during Edith’s wake and funeral. The kindness and generosity of everyone was very overwhelming and will never be forgotten.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to the Palliative care team in Omagh & to the district nurses for all their dedication and compassionate care to Edith.

A special Thank you to Termonmaguirc Cancer Patient fund for all their support and generosity to Edith.

To those who sent cards, flowers, messages and for all the beautiful posts on social media about Edith, Thank you.

To Fr. McAnenly P.P – thank you deeply for your kindness throughout the year & for the meaningful and prayerful funeral mass. To Maeve Glackin & musicians for the beautiful music throughout the service and to all family members who participated in Edith’s funeral Mass, Thank you.

A special word of Thanks to Kelley  Ryan & Peadar from McCallan Funeral directors for their professionalism and support on carrying out the funeral arrangements. To Loughmacrory GAA for their guard of honour, for the use of their clubroom Facilities afterwords and to MMB Catering for the food & refreshments. Thank you.

Ediths months mind mass will be held on Friday 25th July in the Church of St. Mary, Loughmacrory at 7:30pm.

McCallan, Edith. (Nee Glackin) RIP. Died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Eugene, her son Rory (Ciara), Martin (Aisling), Daniel (Theresa). Daughter of the late Seamus and Josie, RIP.  Sister of Michael, Brian, Clare, Paul, Ronan and Adrian. Doting grandmother of Oisin, Ava, Sophia, Donnacha, Shéa, Isla and Cora.

Reposing at her late residence, 23 Mulnafye Rd, Loughmacrory. (BT79 0PG) Wake tonight, the 24th of June, is for family and close friends only. Wake open to the public on the 25th of June from 10am to 10pm until removal on 26th of June at 10.20am for 11am requiem Mass at St Mary’s Church, Loughmacrory, with burial at the adjoining cemetery.

Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her beloved husband, Sons, Daughters in Law, Grandchildren, Uncles and Aunt, brothers, sister, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, and nephews. Padre Pio pray for her.

Hi Eugene and family, Just a few words of kindness from across the pond in America. Really sad to here about Edith's passing. I grew up Stright across the street from Edith on good auld Killymoon Street. Lots of great memories from back then, Eugene stay strong for your family and keep yer chin up through this difficult time. All the best, Joe Brennan.
