The death has occurred of John Joseph Fearon (Johnny Jinks), 9 Bay View, Jonesboro, Armagh, following a short illness, peacefully, and with dignity, surrounded by his loving family in the care of Daisy Hill Hospital.

Beloved husband of Mary (née Mackin), much loved father of Christine, Aine, Gillian, John and Anthony and father-in-law to Adrian (Hoey), Killian (McDonnell), James (Quinn), Ciara (Gallagher) and Fiona (Savage). Adored granda of Cara, Aoibhe, Dáithí, Kieron, Mary-Kate, Annie, Dearbhla, Aoibheann, Moyagh and Cormac. Cherished brother of Ann (Grills), Arthur, Kate (Flood), Veronica, Peter, Gerald, Dymphna (Boyle), Siobhan (McCrink), Adrian/Ned, Fiona. Brother-in-law to Olive, Paddy, Helen, Marina, Gerry, Francie, Lorraine, Patrick and the Mackin family. Predeceased by his parents, Dan and Susan Fearon, his brother Dan, his sister Mary, his brother-in-law Jim Grills, his sister-in-law Maggie, his nephews Baby Aidan, Ashley, Gerald and members of the Mackin family – Michael, Christina, Pat and Mickey.

Reposing privately for family and friends at his home in Jonesborough from 7pm this evening (Sat) and open to visitors from tomorrow (Sun) until his removal at 11am on Tuesday 1st October proceeding on foot for 12 Noon requiem mass in Church Of The Sacred Heart Jonesborough and will be live streamed via the Dromintee Parish FB page. Burial afterwards in Church Hill cemetery Jonesborough.

Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his heartbroken wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, his wide circle of friends and the staff and customers of the Gap o’ the North Pub, Jonesborough.

John will be forever remembered and respected by the community of Jonesborough/Dromintee and far beyond.
