The family of the late Benignus Finnegan RIP would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us during the recent bereavement of our dear brother and uncle.
Thank you to our extended families, neighbours, friends and all those who visited the family home, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, provided food, attended the funeral. Sincere thanks also to Cordelia’s Newry Road for providing food at the wake.
We are forever grateful. Your kindness and support provided great comfort during our time of sadness.
Special thank you to Cardinal Sean Brady for the lovely requiem mass. We are grateful to Cathy Kelly for the beautiful music.
We would like to express our gratitude to Hugo and his team in JJ McArdle funeral directors for their professionalism and compassionate handling of the funeral arrangements .
Sincere thanks to Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust for their assistance and help.

FINNEGAN Benignus, formerly Tullysaran. Died 1st June unexpectedly in London.

Brother Sean, Eilish, Mary, Bernie and Brigid, the late Seamus and Oliver.

Benignus will be reposing at his brother Sean’s home 65 Artsooley Road BT71 7NP, today (Thursday) from 7pm, removal on Saturday to The Church of the Immaculate Conception for 11am Mass. Burial afterwards in Old Tullysaran Cemetery.

Very deeply regret by his entire family.
