FRIEL Gerry, 12th December 2025, peacefully at home, beloved husband of Mary, loving father of Martin, Deana, Caren, Danny, Feargal and Paul, a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather and dear brother of Raymond.

Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton on Sunday from 4 – 6 pm. He will then be removed from there on Monday at 5.45 pm to repose overnight in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 o’clock. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery.
