We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of James (Jimmy) Friel peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by his loving family on the 15th of May 2023. May he rest in peace. Late of 11 Beechwood Court, Derry.

Beloved son of the late Edward and Mary R.I.P. (St Column’s Well and Drumcliffe Avenue). Loving brother of Mimi, Kay, Phyllis, Susie, Marty, and the late Gracie, Eddie and Fia R.I.P. A very dear and devoted uncle and great uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Deeply regretted by his brother in law Stormy and all the family circle.

Reposing at his loving niece Bernie’s home 4 Westland Avenue, Derry. Funeral on Thursday 18th of May leaving at 09.20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Long Tower. Interment immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
