GALLAGHER Eugene (Newry) January 25th, 2026. Suddenly at home. Eugene, son of the late Frank and Delia, brother of Tommy, PJ and Frankie and loving uncle of Joanne and her husband David, Claire and her husband Conleth, Lauren and her fiancé Darren, Sean and Ella, 29 Fifth Avenue, Derrybeg.

Eugene’s remains will repose at Heaney Keenan Funeral Home, 53 Patrick Street, Newry, on Tuesday from 4pm–9pm and again on Wednesday from 2pm–5.30pm. Removal will take place on Wednesday evening to St Brigid’s Church, The Meadow, arriving at 6pm for evening prayers. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 2pm, followed by burial in Monkshill Cemetery.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brothers, sister-in-law Ann, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and the entire family circle.
