GEORGE (née Higgins) Rita – February 24th 2022, peacefully at Ulster Hospital, Dundonald in the arms of Oorlagh, Seamus and Terry.
Sorely missed by her husband Terry, her daughter Oorlagh, her husband Neil and grandson Flynn, her son Seamus and his wife Jillian, her sisters and brothers, and her wonderful circle of friends in Belfast, New York and Los Angeles.
Rita touched everyone she met with her kindness, wisdom, courage and joy. We were all lucky to know her.
Remains to leave her home in County Down for Requiem Mass at St Peter’s Cathedral, Belfast at 12.30pm on Thursday, March 3rd. Masks and Covid protocol please, to protect vulnerable mourners. Afterwards immediate family only to Roselawn Cemetery.
