GILLEN (nee Murphy) Mary (Saval, formerly Poyntzpass) died 22nd September 2025 peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital. Mary R.I.P. Wife of the late Thomas and much loved mother of Edel, John, Anne, Joan and Cathy. Sister of Colman, Seamus, Dympna and the late Bridhe (Biddy), Fergal and Nial. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Her remains will repose at her home 3, Saval Lane, Newry, BT34 1FL on Wednesday from 2-9pm (enter via Rathfriland Road, exit via Coalpit Road). Removal on Thursday at 10.30am for 11.00am funeral mass in St. Colman’s Church, Shinn. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing son, daughters, sons in law Shane & Clive, grandchildren Tom, Cian & Eve, brothers, sister, Sisters in law, Brother in law, cousins, nephews, nieces, family circle & friends. Family flowers only.
