GLACKIN John GerardRIP. (Late of Glengormley, Belfast and England) Passed away peacefully after a long illness on 25 July 2024 at St Thomas Hospital, London.

Beloved son of Anne and the late David Gerard Glackin. Much loved brother of Josephine (Jo), the late Denis, Margaret, Jim and Sophie. A loving uncle to Gavin, Bria and Kye and recently re-acquainted father and grandfather to Stephanie (Chris) and Jasmine. Former partner of Maria and daddy to Shauna. Father of Lisa, Donna and Charlene.

Beautiful memories treasured forever, of happy times of us together, loved beyond words. Our Lady Queen of Peace Pray for him.

John’s remains will be reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast, BT1 2GX, Saturday 3rd August through to Sunday 4th August 9am to 5pm. Family members will be in attendance throughout the day.

Reposing with John will be the ashes of his late brother Denis.

On Monday morning John and Denis will travel together to St Mary’s on the Hill Church, Carnmoney Road, Glengormley BT36 6JU for Requiem Mass at 9.45am. Funeral afterwards to Carnmoney Cemetery for interment at 11.00am.
