It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Monica Glass (née O’Boyle), Maghera and formerly of Ballynease, January 15 2026, Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Much loved wife of Michael. Devoted mother of David, Aidan and Cathair. Much loved grandmother of Daithí and Paídí. Daughter of the late Pat and Mary O’Boyle. Sister of Brige O’Neill, Seamus, Pat, Brendan, Patricia McErlean, Pauline Rafferty and the late Maura Donnelly.

Funeral from her home, 22 Ranaghan Road, BT46 5ND (Rosie’s Cottage) on Sunday, January 18 2026 at 10.15am for 11 00am Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, sons, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, daughter-in-law Shauna, nephews, nieces and wider family circle. Monica’s wake will commence on Friday, January 16 at 12noon.
