Connolly Funeral Directors regret to announce the death of David Hamill, Knockatallon, Scotstown, Co Monaghan H18PV32 peacefully in the loving care of his family.

Dearly beloved husband of Frances and a much loved father to Daithí. Dear son-in-law of Eddie Gray and a much loved brother-in-law to Helen (Eddie Sherlock), Fergal, Edward (Siobhan) and Aidan (Michelle). A treasured uncle to his nieces and nephews, Michael, Katie-May, Chloe, Darran, Cían, Ellie and Odhran. May David’s gentle rest in eternal peace. Pre-deceased by his mother Susan Hamill and mother-in-law Kathleen Gray.

David will repose at his home from 4pm (tomorrow Thursday 29th) until 10pm and again on Friday (30th) from 3pm until 10pm, removal on Saturday afternoon at 1 45pm to arrive at St Joseph’s Chapel, Knockatallon for funeral mass at 2 30pm. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s cemetery Urbleshanny.

A shuttle bus will be in operation during wake times from Slieve Beagh Hotel to alleviate parking on the main road.
