It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jim Hamilton, peacefully at The Royal Infirmary Hospital, Edinburgh on 23rd August 2025. Late of 21 Woodside Heights. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Una. Devoted father of Cara and Kate. Loving son of Bernie and the late Jim. A much loved brother of Christina, Maureen, Thomas, Pauline and Briedge. A dear brother-in-law and uncle. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Jim’s remains will be reposing at his late family home, 21 Woodside Heights from 4pm this afternoon, Wednesday 27th August. Funeral leaving from there on Friday 29th August at 9:15am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Columb’s Church, Chapel Rd. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore.
