Jamie HARKNESS
Joanne, James, Ella and Sophia, the family of Jamie Harkness would like to sincerely thank everyone who sympathised and supported us in so many ways during Jamie’s illness and subsequent passing, and everyone who sent cards, messages and donations. We were overwhelmed by the kindness shown to us by friends and the wider community.
We will be forever grateful to all the staff at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children who showed such care, love and support to Jamie and ourselves throughout his illness.
A special thanks to John and Keith from J H Anderson & Sons funeral directors, for all the compassion shown to us and for going above and beyond with the funeral arrangements during such a difficult time. You were an unbelievable support to us.
Also a special thanks to Rev McFaul and to Rev Clements for his pastoral care during Jamie’s illness, his comforting presence during the wake and his beautiful words at the funeral service.
Thank you to the P.W. for providing the lovely refreshments in the church hall following the funeral service, and to Ardstraw football club and Jamie’s class at Edwards school for their guard of honour.
As it is impossible to thank everyone personally, we hope you will accept this acknowledgement of the family’s heartfelt gratitude for the support extended to them.
Jamie will forever be a part of our family. His smile, giggles, kindness, bravery and hugs will always be remembered and he will always be cherished in our hearts.
