HARPER James Joseph (Jim) late of 32 Bryansford Gardens, Newcastle and formerly of Slievenalargy, Kilcoo died 7th October 2025 peacefully at home cared for by his family. Dearly beloved husband of the late Frances, beloved son of the late Jimmy and Agnes, brother of the late Fr. Francis and the late Sr. Mary (Assumption Order), loving father of Patricia (Matthew), Seamus (Lindsay), Marie-Thérèse and Stephen (Ailbhe), and loving grandfather of Arran, Eliza, Róise, Saorlaith, Erin, Caitlin, Fodhla and Patrick. Jim will be sadly missed by his entire family circle.

Requiem Mass at 10am on Thursday 23rd October 2025 in St. Malachy’s Church, Kilcoo followed by interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Jim’s remains shall repose in M.J. Sawey & Sons Chapel of Rest, 9 Bryansford Avenue, Newcastle, BT33 0AX. Family and friends welcome to visit the Chapel of Rest between 3pm and 8pm on Wednesday, 22nd October 2025.
