HASSON John, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 10th December 2025. Late of 399 Carnhill. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Flora. Devoted father of Bernard, Carol, Suzanne, Christine, John and David. Dearest father-in-law of William, Damien, Dessie, Claire, Jamie and Bridget. Loving grandfather of Dylan, Callum, Clara, Emily, Ciara, Rachel, Matthew, Abbie, Emma, Nathan, Lily-Anne, Oran and Ethan. Precious great-grandfather of Cian and Shane. A much loved brother to all of his brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews, cousins, wider family circle and friends.

John’s remains will be reposing at his daughter Suzanne’s home, 85 The Meadows from 7pm this evening, Wednesday 10th December. Funeral leaving from there on Friday 12th December at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. The wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
