HUGHES Hugh Ronnie passed away October 28, 2025 peacefully at hospital surrounded by his loving family. R.I.P. Beloved husband of Philomena, loving father of Joanne, Martin and Siobhan, father-in-law of Gerard and Lisa. Grandfather of Sarah, Zoe, Owen, Katie and Oliver, great grandfather of Jacob, Niamh and Julia.

Hugh will be reposing at his late residence from today Friday, visitors welcome from 4.00pm. Requiem Mass will be held on Monday 3rd at 1.30pm in Good Shepherd Church, Ormeau Road, followed by cremation at Roselawn Crematorium at 3.20pm. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Philomena and entire family circle. St Jude pray for him. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Action Cancer.

We sat beside your bedside, our hearts were crushed and sore, we did our best to the end, ’til we could do no more. In tears we watched you sinking, we watched you fade away, and though our hearts were breaking we knew you could not stay. You left behind some aching hearts that loved you most sincere, we never shall and never will forget you father dear.
