HUGHES (nee Kelly) Helen (of Holy Family Parish). Died February 18th 2022 peacefully at hospital surrounded by her family.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Brian and deeply loved mother of Patricia, Brian, Geraldine, Marie-Rose, Pauline and Francine. Devoted grandmother to Michael McC, Michael H, Patrick, Eoin, Declan, Thomas, Joseph, Leo, Oscar, Lorcan and Cillian. Also her much loved daughter-in-law Maria, sons-in-law Terry, Sean, Etienne, Paul and Philip, including wider family circle in England, USA and Canada.

Helen’s remains will be reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 116 – 118 Donegall Street, Belfast, BT1 2GX until Wednesday. Visiting by appointment only, please contact O’Kanes on 028 9024 3129. At the request of the family, the House is Strictly Private.

Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday February 24th in St Therese of Lisieux Church, Somerton Road at 11.30am, then burial afterwards in Roselawn Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
