Josephine Kerr nee Ward

The family of the late Josephine Kerr (R.I.P.), who died on 17th June 2025, wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised and supported them in their recent bereavement.
Thanks to everyone who called at the wake, brought Mass and Sympathy cards, sent flowers, made food and attended the funeral.
Special thanks to all our relatives, neighbours and friends who helped out during the wake;
To the Palliative Care Team at the specialist unit in Omagh for the unforgettable care, warmth and kindness provided to Josie during her last weeks;
To Ryan McCallan and all at FMC Funeral Directors for the professional and caring manner in which Josie’s funeral arrangements were carried out;
A special word of thanks to Rev Kevin McElhennon for visiting Josie in hospital and attending the house during the wake, and to Fr Declan McGeehan for his presence during the wake, for celebrating Requiem Mass and for the touching eulogy;
To the sacristan, Eucharistic ministers and altar servers for their assistance through the Mass;
To Shane McAleer and Eamon McElholm for the beautiful singing and music during the Mass.
To Sean Gorman who prepared Josie’s final resting place.
Thanks also to those at Vivo and Hughie Ruadh’s, Mountfield, who prepared refreshments during the wake and after the funeral;
We trust this acknowledgment will be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation and thanks to you all.
Josie’s months mind Mass will be held on Sunday 27th July 2025 in Corpus Christi Church in Mountfield at 10am.

KERR (née WARD) Josephine, cherished wife of late Michael KERR (R.I.P.) died peacefully in hospital June 17, 2025. Loving mother of Simon and Shiona, daughter-in-law Valerie, son-in-law Greg, and grandmother of Rosa, Remi, Michael and Finnan. Sister of Kathleen, Bridget, Patrick, John, Hugh, Michael, Francis, Charles, Anne, Martin, Mary, Margaret and Eileen.
Will repose at her home at the Old Rectory in Mountfield (BT79 7PS). Immediate family only after 10pm. Remains will be leaving her home at 9.30am on Friday 20th June for 10am requiem mass in Corpus Christi Church in Mountfield. Deeply regretted by all her friends and family.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu can be made to Macmillan Cancer Support.
