We the family of the late Katrina (Teeny) McCartan would like to sincerely thank everyone who sympathised with, prayed for and supported us through our sudden and recent bereavement.

We greatly appreciate all who attended the wake, funeral, sent messages, mass cards, sympathy cards and made donations to Termonmaguirc Friendly Care group.

Sincere thanks to our family, friends and neighbours who helped at the wake, provided food, directed traffic, Aidan O’Gara for providing the marquee facilities with lighting and heating.

A massive thank you to Fr Peter McAnenly for celebrating a beautiful service for Teeny with a very touching homily. His spiritual guidance brought us great comfort during this time.

We extend our gratitude to those who participated in the funeral mass with particular thanks to Courtney McCaskie, Jade Doherty, Anna Bradley and Patrick Slevin for the beautiful singing and music for Katrina’s funeral mass and Mary Conway for the sacristan duties. Thanks to Angela Rafferty who provided the mass booklets.

A special thanks to the Friendly Care Group who provided food during the wake.

We extend our gratitude to Peadar Fox and Ryan McCallan for their care, professionalism and compassion at this difficult time. We thank Ciaran Conroy for preparing Teenys final resting place, the florist and Kelley McNally, Seamus Russell and the Charm Inn staff for providing refreshments after the funeral.

We thank Loughmacrory GFC, Friendly Care Group, Omagh CBS and Dean Maguirc College and everyone else for guard of honour.

Finally a very special thanks to the emergency services and the staff at Classic filling station for their tender care towards Katrina and family at this difficult time.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.

Katrina’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 23rd November in St Mary’s Chapel, Loughmacrory at 10am.

McCartan, 17a Ballybrack Rd, Loughmacrory 25th October 2025, Katrina (Teeny), RIP. Suddenly. Cherished daughter of Sean and Clare. Beloved sister of Ciara, Liam (Roisin) and Roisin (Shaun). Auntie to Ollie and Eddie. Dearly loved granddaughter of Kathleen.

Remains reposing at her late residence with wake 12 noon to 10pm Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th. Family only on morning of funeral, please. Removal at 1.30pm to St Mary’s Church, Loughmacrory on Wednesday 29th October for 2pm requiem Mass.

Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Sadly missed and deeply regretted by her sorrowing father, mother, sisters, brother and their partners, nephews, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family circle.
