LONG, (née Rankin) Muriel Frances Elizabeth. November 22nd 2025. Peacefully at Airedale General Hospital and late of Lancashire, formerly Castlederg.

Dearly beloved wife of Archie. A devoted mother of Lorraine and Dave (Mariella). A much-loved grandma of Declan (Lizzie), Samantha (Kyri) and Jack. Great-grandma of Penelope. Loving sister of Jean, Kath, Jackie, Gretta, Winnie, Violet, Edmond and the late Sarah and George.

Everyone is welcome to call at Armstrong’s Funeral Home, Omagh on Sunday from 3-5pm. Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Muriel will be held in Armstrong’s Funeral Home, Omagh on Monday at 12 noon followed by committal in St. Bestius’ Church Graveyard.
