MAGEE Nigel Joseph (Newry) died peacefully at his daughter Rachael’s home after a long health battle 6th January 2026. Loving father to Rachael, Gary and the late Oliver and husband to Mary and father-in-law to Mark Harrison. A very precious Granddad. Beloved son of the late Sylvia and Oliver, and a much loved brother to Kieron, Andrienna, Olivia and the late Catherine and Brian. A dear brother-in-law and Uncle.

Nigel’s remains will repose at 27 Cherry Hill, Rostrevor from tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12pm – 9pm and Thursday from 12pm – 9pm.

Removal on Friday 9th January at 11 am for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Newry. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Nigel a true friend and gentleman will be sadly missed by his entire family circle.
