MARKEY (nee Bowens) Eileen (Newry) died 9th July 2025 peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital. Eileen R.I.P. Wife of the late Seamus and much loved mother of Brenna, Brian, Colm, Shane and Owen. Sister of Margaret (Loughnane) & Mary (Ryan). Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Her remains will repose at her home 45 Chapel Road, Newry from Saturday until removal on Monday at 10:15am for 11:00am Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Chapel Street, burial afterwards in St. Malachy’s Cemetery, Carrickcruppen.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughter, daughter in-law Helen, son in law Ewan, sisters, brothers in law, grandchildren Cein, Laura, Siobhan, Niamh, Odhrán, and Niall, great granddaughters Mia & Ava, nephews, nieces, family circle and friends.
