Wife Carmel and family of the late Desmond would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who supported and sympathised with them on their recent bereavement.
To our friends, neighbours, extended family and all who called to the house, attended the funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, reached out with meals and helped with arrangements – we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity and compassion reminded us that we are not alone in our grief.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Downe Hospital, doctors and staff at Montalto Surgery, district nursing team, nurse Helen Jones at DAFU, Lydian and Jark carers for their endless care and compassion. Thank you to the staff at Hannawin’s Pharmacy, Ballynahinch.
We extend our gratitude to Fr Ciarán Dallat and to Deacon Niall O’Hara for their attentiveness and prayers at the family home and for celebrating Desmond’s beautiful Requiem Mass.
