It is with the deepest regret that we announce untimely sad passing of Darragh Patrick McAleese (aged 9 years), peacefully after a long illness in Basel, Switzerland (surrounded by his loving family) on the 14th April 2025.

Darragh is the precious darling son of Kieran and Salome, a very much loved brother of Marnie, dearest grandson of Kathleen and the late Pat McAleese and the late Silvia and Dieter Suter, adored nephew of Patrina, Mary, Stephen, Gary, Angela, Kathy, Sabine and Eva and an adored cousin.

Darragh’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 5th July in All Saints Church, Ballymena, at 10am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in Aughnahoy Cemetery, Portglenone.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing father, mother, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family circle. Blessed Carlo Acutis pray for him. May He Rest In Peace.
