The family of the late Yvonne McArdle who passed away on 12th June 2025 would like to share our sincere thanks to everyone who supported us at the time of her passing.
Thank you to everyone who attended the wake & to those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards and for all the kind words, tributes and fond memories shared. The family took great comfort in seeing how special Yvonne was to the local community and beyond.
We would like to say a special thanks to Dearbhla Hogan and the entire district nursing and care team who provided such amazing care to Yvonne in her final days. This will never be forgotten.
Thank you to Hugo and all at JJ. McArdle, & Sons, Fr. Liam McKinney, Bob Hunt, Catherine Grimley and all involved in the organisation & facilitation of the funeral. Thank you to everyone who attended, watched online and joined the family after. The mass was a beautiful tribute to Yvonne’s life.

McARDLE (nee Donnelly) Yvonne Armagh,12th June 2025. Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Marty, loving mother of Gary, Brógán, Aoibheann and Dáire. Dear sister of Tony, Ian and Terrie. Dearest Nana of Caitríona, Cormac.

Beloved daughter of the late Henry and Gwen Donnelly Rest In Peace.

Yvonne will be reposing at the family home, 4 Umgola Drive BT60 4EJ. Funeral on Saturday to St. Patrick’s Cathedral for 11.00am Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Very deeply regretted by her husband, daughter, sons, sister, brothers, daughter in law Ayla, Brógán’s partner Blanaid, Aoibheann’s partner Toby, entire family circle and many friends.
