McCONNELL, (née Foster) Joan, 15th. December 2024, peacefully at her home 9 Rathmore Crescent.

Joan, beloved wife of the late Shaunny, loving mother of Kim, Sean, Joan, Declan, Ashlene, Christopher and the late Kevin, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, mother-in-law to Billy, Michael, Annmarie, Liz and Barry, dear daughter of the late Richard and Susan, cherisher sister of Kevin, Brian and Sylvia. Loved and will be sadly missed by her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Joan will be reposing at her home on Monday 16th. December from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Funeral leaving her home on Wednesday 18th. December at 11:20 a.m. to St Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE.
