It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent McCormack, peacefully at Edenballymore Lodge Care Home, surrounded by his loving family on 18th December 2025. Late of Edanmount Park, Derry and Leenan, Urris.

Vincent will be missed dearly by his daughter Anne, and grandchildren Maisie and Jamie. A beloved and devoted husband to Inez, brother to John and the late Marie and John L, son of late Vincent and Mary, dear cousin of Sr. Catherine. Loved and missed by all the wider family circle.

Vincent’s remains will be reposing at his late brother John L. McClafferty’s home, 18 Belmont Crescent from 4pm this afternoon, Friday 19th December. A humanist service will take place from there at 12:30pm on Sunday 21st December. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

The family are grateful for the care given to him by the staff at Edanballymore Lodge Care Home.
