It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerry McDaid, suddenly at his home on 19th October 2025. Late of 85 Blighs Lane. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Christine. Devoted father of Orliáth, Andrea, Nicola, Martin and Gary. A dear father-in-law of Sean and Anthony. Loving granda of Eimear, Kirsty, Fergus, Aidan, Amie, Ciaran, Zofia, Dáire and Logan. Precious great-granda of Cruz and Croiá. A much loved brother of Teresa, Damien, Noeleen, Donna, Katrina, Raymond, Noel and Edel. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends.
