Family Acknowledgement and Month mind Mass

The family of the late Teresa McDonald would like to sincerely thank everyone who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful to all who called to the wake, attended the funeral, sent messages, telephoned, sent or brought Mass and Sympathy cards, and made donations to St. Vincent de Paul in lieu of flowers.
We greatly appreciate the kindness, support, and generosity of all who helped in preparing for and during the wake and funeral, and to everyone who brought food and gifts.
For their spiritual support, we extend our thanks to Fr. Paddy Doherty and Fr. Kevin McElhennon. We are especially grateful to Fr. Kevin, Fr. Paddy, and Fr. Francis Bradley for concelebrating Teresa’s Funeral Mass and making it such a beautiful occasion. Thank you to Fr. Kevin for his comforting words and touching homily. Our thanks also to Mac AV for allowing the funeral to be viewed by friends and family who could not attend. Particular thanks to Jackie Fox and Eamon Donnelly, whose music and singing added so much to the Funeral Mass.
We thank Ann Gorman for the beautiful flowers in the chapel, Anne Furey for sacristan duties, and Jacqueline Meenagh and Jacqueline Quinn for serving as Eucharistic Ministers at Teresa’s funeral. We also thank all who prepared and maintain Corpus Christi Church.
Sincere thanks to Ciaran Conroy for preparing Teresa’s final resting place in St. Columcille’s Cemetery, Carrickmore, and to Fr. McAnenly for calling to Teresa’s home and conducting the Rite of Committal, assisted by Fr. Paddy. We also thank John Donaghy, undertaker, for his patience, care, and guidance throughout the wake and funeral, as well as Kate McAleer for her assistance at Teresa’s removal and Michael McGuigan for his assistance at Teresa’s funeral and burial.
Thank you to Marie and Michael Meenagh and to the staff of Hughie Ruadh’s for the warm and welcoming refreshments after the burial, and to Mountfield Community Association for the use of the hall.
Thank you to all who visited Teresa when she was in hospital, sent prayers and Mass Bouquet cards, and kept her in their thoughts when she was unwell. A very special thank you to those involved in Teresa’s care, particularly over this past summer: the GPs and staff of Drumragh Family Practice, the staff of Slevin’s Chemist, the staff of Omagh Hospital Cardiac Assessment Unit, the staff of Altnagelvin Hospital, and the staff of the Palliative Care Ward in Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex for their compassion and kindness to Teresa.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a personal expression of our heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation.
Teresa’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Corpus Christi Church, Mountfield, on Sunday, 21st September, at 10.00 am.
