McDONNELL Gerry RIP, 3 Mountain View Villas, Camlough and formerly Tullyagh Rd, Whitecross, passed away peacefully 12th February 2026, surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the dedicated staff of Evora Hospice, Newry. Dearly beloved husband of the late Leen RIP, devoted father of Francie (Mary) and Gerard (Margaret), loving Granda of Darren, Dean, Paul, Kathleen, Sean and Niamh, great Granda to Stephen, Ben, Rory, Michael, Cillian, Meabh and Alva, dearest brother of Jimmy, Rosaleen, Bernadette and the late Sean, Dan and May RIP, a cherished brother in law, uncle and friend to many.

Gerry’s remains will repose in Mallon’s Funeral Home, Mill Rd, Bessbrook on Thursday evening 6-8pm and Friday 12-2pm and 6-8pm. Funeral leaving from his late residence 3 Mountain View Villas, Camlough at 10:45am Saturday 14th February for 11am Requiem Mass in St Malachy’s Church, Carrickcruppen. Interment in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family circle.
