McDOWELL Hugh (Dylan), died peacefully April 2, 2026 at Marie Curie Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved son to the late Ted and Mamie. Loving and devoted brother to Kate, Anna, Eamonn, Dee and the late Jackie and Gerard. Cherished brother-in-law to Patricia, Marian, Seamie, Lorna, Lisa and the late Martin. Will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by the wider family circle and friends.

Hugh will be reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 2 St Judes Avenue, Belfast, BT7 2GZ on Sunday April 12th from 12noon-4.00pm for those wishing to come and pay their respects. Requiem Mass will be held on Monday April 13th at 11.00am in the Good Shepherd Church, 511 Ormeau Road, Belfast BT7 3GS, followed by committal at Milltown Cemetery at 12.45pm. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Marie Curie
