We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of James (Jim) McGilligan peacefully at home on 3rd of February 2026. May he rest in peace. Late of 3 Glenroe Park, Dungiven, Co Derry.

Beloved husband of Maureen and loving father of Seamus, Lorraine, David, Deirdre, Ashleen, Shane, Rita and the late baby Michael. A devoted grandfather and great grandfather. Dear brother of the late Anna, Jean, Dermot, Harry, Paddy, May and Gerry R.I.P.

Wake at his late home commencing at 11am Wednesday 4th February 2026. Funeral on Friday 6th of February 2026 leaving his late home at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
