We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Bridie McGlinchey née McElhinney suddenly but peacefully at home on 10th May 2025. May she rest in peace. Late of 148 Lettershandoney Avenue, Co Derry.

Beloved wife of Noel. Loving mother of Séamus (Noleen), Christopher (Lisa), Michael (Petrina), Oliver (Lorraine), Niall (Emma) and Mary (Stephen McVey).

Devoted grandmother of Daniel, Rebecca, Anna, Oísin, Cahir, Shéa, Caitlin, Niamh, Rose, Bridie, Shane and Rían. Beloved daughter of the late James and Catherine McElhinney R.I.P (Tamnagh) and loving sister of the late John and Martin R.I.P. Deeply regretted by the wider family circle. Bridie is reposiing at her late home. Wake will commence at the family home on Tuesday (May 13) from 2.00pm to 10.00pm and Wednesday (May 14) from 2.00pm to 10.00pm. Funeral on Thursday, May 15 leaving at 11.45am for 12.30pm Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Our Lady of Knock pray for her.
